Excellent service from Sry and lovely freshly made food . Highly recommend Iced Mint & Cucumber Tea, very refreshing and freshly made too. Very accomodating as well.

This is a new place with an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. I had the Suyuan Special breakfast of pan fried tofu, spinach, home-made potato and onion cake, avocado, mushroom, served with garlic & chilli sauce and toasted Chinese bread. It was absolutely delicious and one of the most tasty breakfasts I’ve had. The coffee is really good, and strong. The service was excellent and I so loved the whole vibe of this place. I will definitely be revisiting to explore their dinner menu. And so I returned in the evening to sample the amazing authentic Chinese cuisine. I had the tofu stick, shiitake mushrooms and bamboo curry with jasmine rice. It was wonderful service and our group was given dumplings to try which were truly sumptuous. I so loved the relaxed atmosphere and ambience of this restaurant with the soulful music. I will be returning again to sample more of the vegetarian dishes

This place is a real gem. You feel they really care about their food, presentation and service. Even the furniture and cutlery are very nice! At many places you feel like they are just churning out food - like a factory, but not here. Everything has a good standard - even the coffee! I have had breakfast here - you can get traditional English or with a Chinese twist (both nice!). In the evening they offer Chinese food, which is authentic, fresh and delicious. Many vegetarian and vegan options.

The food here is amazing and authentically Chinese! We love the fresh ingredients they have used in my beef tomato noodle soup, and the portions are also very generous. They have a good assortment of Chinese dishes that are meat based and also vegetarian. We love the Suyuan by Queen Square and we this new Suyuan bistro too! We will be frequenting both venues!

What a fabulous independent restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The home made dumplings were delish. We all enjoyed starters and mains and commented on the wonderful favours. You can bring your own alcohol if you wish. The staff were really helpful with menu choices.

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. The food was incredible. Best dumplings I've ever eaten. The staff and service was better than perfect. They were so friendly and warm and even gave us a pudding on the house can't wait to come back!

A real gem on Gloucester Road from the same owners as Suyuan Vegan Bistro in the centre. We came for brunch and had the Chinese breakfast platter and egg roll with some dumplings to share. Delicious food, really friendly team, and a nice selection of tea and coffee too.

I’ve eaten here twice this month with friends and family. Both times have been super excellent. Rice last time, noodles this. Plus delicious dumplings. Mai and Chris are kind hosts who really care about their customers and food that’s very fresh and tasty.
